fluidsynth-dssi software package provides DSSI wrapper for the FluidSynth SoundFont-playing synthesizer, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fluidsynth-dssi
fluidsynth-dssi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fluidsynth-dssi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fluidsynth-dssi *
You will get with fluidsynth-dssi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
